BTBC EXECUTIVE OFFICERS SELECTED, JULY 8, 2010Results of the BTBC Executive Officer selection vote today at North American Indian Days in Browning:Willie A. Sharp, Jr. has been returned as Chairman Peter Rusty Tatsey has been returned as Vice Chairman TJ Show has been returned as Secretary There are 9 BTBC members, each is elected to a 4 year term, and terms are staggered. So every 2 years either 4 or 5 seats come up for election. But Executive Officers (Chairman, Vice Chairman, Secretary) are selected by the BTBC after every election, i.e. every 2 years. So, the administration remains the same as before. The current BTBC now consists of newly-elected Jay Wells, Jay St. Goddard, Shannon Augare, returned incumbents Willie A.Sharp, Jr. and Paul McEvers, and BTBC members who did not run in 2010 because their 4 year terms end in 2012: Peter Rusty Tatsey, Henry Butterfly, Reis Fisher, and TJ Show. |
