A hiker had the misfortune of surprising a huge albino grizzly yesterday on the Swiftcurrent Pass Trail in Glacier National Park.  Coming around a blind corner, the hiker, Mr. A.E. Newman of Cardston, AB, came face to face with the bear, which charged instantly and with full fury.....

Blackfeet like to say that no Tribal member has ever been killed by a grizzly bear. So when a big old grizzly came crashing out of the woods a couple weeks ago and ran into two Blackfeet, one of whom was Chairman Sharp, the bear stuck to tradition and nobody got hurt...
