Vice Chairman Rusty Tatsey wants to hear from you!
How can we make this website better?
Dear Tribal and Community Members,As an educator I have long appreciated the power of technology to educate, inform, and communicate. As Chairman of the Cultural Committee I see technology as a valuable tool to preserve, share, and revitalize our culture and heritage. As Vice Chairman of the Tribe I want everyone to know what’s going on in government and have an opportunity to voice their concerns and contribute their ideas. So it is with great enthusiasm we unveil the new Blackfeet Nation website. This is YOUR website so we want to hear from you. What new features would you like to see? What is good or bad, right or wrong with this first version? What would you like to contribute? Articles? Essays? Photos? Art? Videos? Ideas? Viewpoints? You tell me and we'll make it happen. For a large tribe in a remote area, the internet is a great way to keep everyone connected, involved, and informed. So we built this website to be infinitely expandable and flexible. For example, the underlying technology is so powerful that just about any and every feature you find on your favorite websites can be added to our website Whether it is Facebook, You Tube, NativeBiz News, or any other educational / news / entertainment / social networking / blogging / library /game / cultural site / reference site in existence: If they do it, we can do to too, adapted and tailored to our unique needs and way of life. The BTBC decided the new Blackfeet Nation website should be the biggest and best in Indian Country and be able to meet all the current and future needs of the Tribe. We’ve done that, so now it’s your turn to tell us how to make it better. Let me hear from you.Peter "Rusty" Tatsey, Vice Chairman
